Baby BOY, New Job, New Blog..

Don’t worry guys, I have a valid excuse why it’s been weeks and weeks since I blogged. The thing is, I feel as if our life is full the same old boring things unless we have an ultrasound to go to now days. I was going to blog a little while ago when I thought I was getting an ultrasound to find out the sex of our little one. That way, I could put anything and everything that was exciting into one log and not have like 5 different short blogs for everyone to read. SO, I was really just doing you all a favor! (wink) Well things have gotten a little crazy in the Allred household over the past few weeks. Our life is still full of me and Ty working completely opposite schedules and never seeing each other. When I’m not working, I’m cuddled up in a blanket on the phone with my mom or watching Netflix and Lifetime all day. When Tyler’s not working, his life is full of studying and MORE studying. The few moments we get together throughout the week are now spent watching our new favorite ser

Starting our family.. Baby Allred is on the way!!

Life is getting really exciting for the Allred family! I'm sure all of you saw our Facebook post about little baby Allred on the way... I wanted so bad to just blurt it out all over the last blog I posted. And well, all over everything and to everyone. I have a really hard time with surprises. Although, I must say I was pretty good about keeping my mouth shut about this one. A lot of you probably have so many questions and I definitely want to try to answer them for you through our "getting pregnant story" If you want to call it that. Haha. But anyways, I've been wanting a baby ever since we first got married, I've just ALWAYS wanted to be a mom. I got my patriarchal blessing when I was either 17 or 18 and in that blessing, it talked so much about motherhood and how it would play a big role in my life. One of my favorite things in there is that it says "you're children will look up to you in every aspect of your life". This sentence in my blessing m

What happens in Cedar City..

So much for keeping up with my blog, right? My goodness, i'm so sorry to those of you who were looking forward to hearing about our terribly boring lives. Haha just kidding.  It will be a lot easier now that i have my own laptop. WOOHOO! Well a lot has happened since my last blog (obviously because its been a few months). We've been pretty busy around here at the Allred house!  We had a super fun summer that mostly consisted of visiting famil. From boating, travelling to Arizona for my moms side family reunion, and a lot of time spent at 7 Peaks getting sunburnt. Now that summer is over, we are starting to get back into the groove of things. Tyler started school this past week at SUU. For those who dont know, he is studying to become a physical therapist. School is stressful and makes Tyler's life especially so so busy but we are pretty psyched by how much a college degree will benefit our family in the end. We moved to Cedar City at the beginning of June, so we have n

SCAM AWARENESS

Image
We had a life-learning experience today that we feel the need to share with everyone. We were involved in a scam. We wish that there was more awareness for scamming and tips on how to know you're being scammed. We had Tyler's old highschool car, Rusty, that we were selling on KSL Classifieds. We had tried to previously to scrap  it for money but we were informed that we would only receive 25$ and we knew that Rusty's parts were worth at least a couple hundred dollars. Well, we were losing hope when this lady named "Pamela" had reached out to us and said that she was interested, we were SO excited! She actually even offered more then what we were going to ask for. Now if you know me, i'm a huge worry wart and I always jump to the worst conclusion, where Tyler worries but for the most part, he's pretty laid back. At the very beginning, I was like, "I don't know about this, it might be sketchy.." I concluded that I was probably just worrying too

A little about the Allreds and our love story.

Hello friends and family!  I'm not the best at writing and keeping a journal, but I know it's definitely important to have a record of stories, important events and other fun things for my kids to read someday. So here I am, starting my first blog ever. Bear with me; this blog may be a little longer than all the rest to come will be.  I wanted to just share a little bit about my cute little family and share a condensed story about how we came to be. (Basically explaining the title of my blog.) My family consists of my husband Tyler, me, and our cute 9 week old puppy; Dez. (After Dez Bryant #88 Dallas Cowboys)  Me and my husband come from two pretty different but both very blessed backgrounds. Tyler grew up in Nephi, Utah while I grew up in Corinne, Utah. I won't get too me into our full backgrounds at this time because I do want to share our story.  "Every love story is great, but ours is my favorite." My husband and I are members of the Ch
